This clover leaflet has been abraded in order to infect it with bean yellow mosaic virus. Infected, susceptible plants usually begin showing symptoms in 10 to 14 days. Apache arrowleaf was developed and evaluated by Dr. G. Ray Smith and co-workers with the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station and the Texas Cooperative Extension at Overton, Texas.
